In order to use these tools, you will need to register as a member of the Veritas Financial Ministries web site and set up your personal account with your user name and password.

You will get the most out of these online tools by going through both the 7 Steps book and workbook in a small group study setting. The small group helps you realize you aren’t alone, as you strive to be a faithful steward of the gifts the Lord has entrusted to you. You’ll receive a great deal of support from your group leader and other participants that will fortify you as you put these tools into practice. The Veritas budget provides an easy way for you to establish financial priorities by the same key categories that were described in 7 Steps to Becoming Financially Free. You’ll be able to compare your actual income and expenses to your annual budget in dollars. You’ll also be able to review your expenses as a percentage of income for key categories. The Veritas budget will soon become an indispensable part of your financial plan!

The summary of debts helps you to easily see the “big picture” when it comes to the debts you have. While it may not be something you initially look forward to, it is a key tool as you develop a debt repayment strategy. As you progress with your debt repayment plan, watching your debts get smaller will become extremely encouraging!

Balance Sheet

The balance sheet reflects your overall financial position at one point in time. By periodically using this tool to update your assets and liabilities, you’ll see if you are on track to meet your financial goals as a Steward of Providence.

The price list is a tool to help you become a more effective shopper. By using this tool to keep an up-to-date list of the things you regularly purchase, you’ll know when you are getting a good deal and when you’re not. Print the list to take with you to the grocery store!
