How the Small Group Study Works:

The small group study consists of up to 15 participants and the group leader, who meet for six weekly sessions plus an orientation meeting and a graduation-social. Each 90-120 minute session is supported by the Program DVD and Leader Guide and includes:

  • 10 minute opening prayer and homework review led by the group leader
  • 5 minute video introduction
  • 45 to 75 minute group discussion facilitated by the group leader
  • 10 to 20 minute practical exercise video
  • 10 minutes to share personal prayer intentions and have closing prayer

What are Participants Saying?

"So many times I separated the financial end of things from my faith and that's not what God has intended at all. A program like this has given me - I think both of us - an opportunity to make some good decisions that will hopefully bring glory to Him."
- Joe

"It's helped define our values. And from your values you make choices in life. I feel a much stronger sense of what my values are with my money. And that's making those choices easier."
- Katie

What are Pastors Saying?

"Our affluence is working against us. We're compromising our faith. A program of this nature will help parishioners look at this from a Catholic perspective - immerse them more deeply in the Gospel. They will be able to walk more closely with Christ, in sync with the Church. They'll be able to make wiser choices - not allow money to dictate how they live. It will support what I'm trying to do from the pulpit and other programs within the parish that help build Christian community."
- Father John Kuzmich, St. Vincent de Paul parish

What are Group Leaders Saying?

"The study's transforming results build a great sense of community within the group that quickly extends to their peers and friends. I already have several potential volunteers to facilitate future small groups at our parish!"
- John Christensen, Small Group Leader
